Why is the currency all in dollars? I live in the UK!
Quite simply because we couldn't find a service which offered such fantastic goods at such a great price anywhere else but the USA! Orders are paid for using your credit card and that means that your credit card statement will show the amount in your local currency.

Is there a returns policy? It's awkward when you can't actually see the goods.
Yes, no problem. We know how difficult it can be to buy products online that you can't touch, feel or try on (did you buy the right size? the right color?). That's why we stand behind all orders with our 30 day satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you need to return (or exchange) an item, simply contact customer service.

Can I change or cancel an order? What if I made a mistake in my address details?
If you need to cancel an order,  contact customer service. If you have completed an order and wish to change your shipping or billing information, please call us toll-free at 1-877-809-1659 (local / international customers may call 1-510-877-1579). Please have your order number ready when calling. If you wish to cancel an order, please do so as soon as possible -  if your order has already started processing, we may not be able to cancel it.

Can special orders be supplied?
Yes! We can accept one-off orders ("I'd like a t-shirt that says Barnsley Blokes are Best" or "I'd like twenty mousemats saying Fred Bloggs Computer Supplies, Leeds" or whatever!) - there will be a small surcharge, depending on your requirements but we will let you know the amount when you enquire. Email us with special requests.

I suppose shipping cost a fortune out of the USA?
Actually no, it's very reasonable! There are offers multiple shipping options for delivery within the U.S. plus international shipping across the globe.

In stock items will ship within 2-3 business days with standard shipping. Expedited (Next Day/2 Day) will ship the NEXT BUSINESS day. Items ordered on Monday will be shipped on Tuesday and received Wednesday (if next day). Items ordered on Friday will be shipped on Monday and received on Tuesday (if next day). Remember, business days exclude weekends and holidays.

What about tax and stuff?
As Cafe Press is located in California, only residents of that state will be charged the applicable sales tax.  If you are overseas, you may be subject to import duties, taxes and VAT (if applicable), which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from CafePress, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Which credit card are accepted? What about cheques?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and cheque cards, as long as they are connected with one of the major credit card companies listed above.

You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information.

Paying by cheque card:
If you're paying with a Visa Check Card, or MasterMoney Card enter it as if it was a regular credit card.

Authorizing your credit card:
When you place an order with us, we contact your credit card's issuing bank to confirm that your credit card is a valid number and has not been reported as lost or stolen. We do this by requesting authorization for the sale. We don't actually charge your card at this time. We never charge your card for the items in your order until we are ready to ship them.

It is not uncommon for a request for credit card authorization to fail once or twice before the card is finally authorized. We will send you an e-mail if we experience difficulties in authorizing your credit card.

You are always welcome to submit new credit card information to us for a particular order, provided that the order has not yet entered the shipping process.

Ordering by cheque or money order

To place an order using a personal cheque or money order, purchase your products online as if paying by credit card. When prompted to enter your credit card number, simply check the box marked "Pay by Cheque or Money Order" and click continue. Once you complete your order, you will be given an order number and shown a final receipt page. Print and mail this page with your payment to:

We always want to ensure that our shop sells the goods YOU want. Although we are limited to the items themselves (for example, we would love to have black t-shirts but they're just not available from Cafe Press yet) we would love to hear your suggestions for new slogans and logos. Another typical Yorkshire question! Yes, we could. But we investigated thoroughly and found nothing to even begin to compare with the Cafe Press service.
